Lazy Sunday: The Chronicles of Narnia Rap

Goon posted this on Muzak For Cybernetics yesterday and I thought it was well worth posting the video link here as well. Basically, this is a Saturday Night Live skit featuring Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell of The Lonely Island comedy troupe doing a rap music video about going to see The Chronicles of Narnia. The thing that makes it hilarious is that the song’s not really about Narnia at all. I have to admit, I haven’t watched Saturday Night Live in years, but if this were the old SNL, it would have featured some lame jokes about the actual movie itself. In this case, though, Samberg and Parnell just seemed to write a song about what they did last Sunday, with the chorus “We love the Chronic (What?) …cles of Narnia”. And it’s pretty damn funny.
